How important are the visual arts in our society? I feel strongly that the visual arts are of vast and incalculable importance. Of course I could be prejudiced. I am a visual art. . . . Kermit the Frog
Watercolors & Other Fine Art

Tiptoe Art Studio is the joint effort of the husband and wife team of K. Grayson and Bruce McMahon. K. Grayson (Kathy) is an award winning watercolor artist and sculptor and Bruce is a custom framer. Both Kathy & Bruce are native to the Sacramento Valley and have lived here all their lives.
Kathy has always had a deep interest in the visual arts, but her career in the health field didn’t allow much time to develop her artistic talents. After retiring from many years in cancer research, she started to dabble in watercolor painting. Basically self-taught, her style tends towards realism and lots of color. Her topics are varied and one never knows what the next subject will be.
Bruce manufactures the frames from scratch, cuts the mats and mounts the pictures. Each frame is a unique, one-of-a-kind creation. After the frame is completed, Kathy then paints or stains it to compliment the painting.
Our main goal is to have fun, pursue our passion for the visual arts, and produce affordable works that the public hopefully enjoys and appreciates.
